There are many other dominant Iowa casinos, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.
A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a river based gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend water based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. One more Iowa river based gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. paddle wheel boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slot machines, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday blackjack tournaments.
Iowa casinos provide an excellent amount of tax income to the state government of Iowa, which has permitted the bankrolling of many state wide projects. Vacationers have increased at an accelerated rate along with the request for companies and a growth in working people. Iowa gambling dens have been helpful to the growth of the market, and the excitement for wagering in Iowa is across the board.
